We are always on the lookout for new products that will be gentle on the earth and your pocketbook, but well made, fun, and unique. We love to support local as well as Fair Trade companies, which is why we feature Venus Imports products (skirts, silk scarves, handbags, etc.), and handmade hats by Diane VanHorn. Who doesn’t need a hobby? Who doesn’t enjoy an ice cold beer or a good glass of wine every now and then? Basics carries all of the ingredients and equipment to make beer right at home! We offer the easy do it yourself kits as well as whole grains, hops and yeast for the more experienced brewer. Basics also has a great variety of dried and liquid malts, brew pots, grinders, fermenting buckets, glass carboys, bottles, sanitizer, cappers and so much more! The kits come with easy to use instructions to get you started on your new hobby. We also have some wine making supplies and yeasts. If we don’t carry it in the store, we can probably get it for you.
