There is no treatment or drug that can match the body’s own astonishing capability to heal itself. The Chinese word Qigong (chee kung) means energy work.  Qigong is a highly effective ancient healing therapy that utilizes the mind and body’s Qi (energy) for improved health and longevity.

The Qigong program provides simple and effective qigong exercises that will help you relieve pain and rebuild your strength and flexibility. Qigong can help improve all bodily functions such as the digestive, nervous and immune systems. Another benefit of Qigong is that anyone can do it.  It can be done standing or sitting in a chair.

Nancy Mayhew is a Qigong apprentice through Zen Wellness. She has been studying Qigong for the past 6 years. Her Master Instructors include Master Michael Leone Zen Wellness, Lisa O’Shea the Qigong Institute of Rochester New York, and Bruce Frantzis a Taoist Lineage Master.
