Use of The Community Room at Basics does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by Basics, its Owners, or the Board of Directors. All promotions for public events in the room must explicitly state: "Independent event not affiliated with Basics." This includes tagging Basics Co-op on social media. Thank you for supporting your community-owned co-op, which represents more than 7,000 local owner households!
Public and Private Events Welcome
The Community Room at Basics can accommodate up to 75 guests and is equipped with a large dry-erase board, podium, tables, and chairs.
Cost is only $20 for Co-op Owners or $40 for the general public, for up to 4 hours!
Please note: No outside food is permitted, except for cakes/cupcakes. Our in-store Co-op Cafe caters for all events. Basics is a full-service natural foods store. Even if you do not purchase catering for your event, many items are available for purchase from the store such as drinks, snacks, chips and dips, desserts, and more! We highly recommend Pastries By Chad, LLC for custom cakes. No alcohol is permitted in The Community Room.
