American Provenance was born and raised on a 4th generation family farm in Blue Mounds, WI by founder, Kyle LaFond. Kyle found inspiration in his grandfather who had a deep appreciation of nature and farming.
American Provenance deodorants, beard balms and oils, aftershaves, and other personal care products are hand mixed, hand poured, labeled, and hand packed in their own facility near the family farm where it all began. American Provenance uses ingredients that have been around for hundreds of years such as coconut oil, beeswax, plant butters, oils, and waxes. Their products are never animal tested.
Kyle LaFond, Founder
Kyle, a former middle school science teacher, was always getting headaches at school. When he realized the headaches were related to the chemical clouds of deodorants and body sprays infiltrating the school hallways and rooms, Kyle challenged his students to create their own personal care items without harsh chemicals. After years of experiments and improvements to his own formulas, American Provenance was born!
