For nearly 15 years, DK has been a proud Basics Co-op Owner, helping ensure that a store unlike any other remains right here in the neighborhood.
When DK first became an Owner, Basics offered products and choices that simply couldn't be found elsewhere. Recognizing the value the Co-op brought to the community, joining as an Owner was a way to help ensure Basics would continue serving local shoppers for years to come.
Today, DK still enjoys many of the products that made Basics stand out from the start. Fresh organic produce like broccoli, sweet potatoes, and baby potatoes are her favorites, along with the extensive bulk selection. Grass-fed meats, homeopathic remedies, fresh-ground peanut butter, fruit jellies, and the wide variety of specialty products keep DK coming back. More recently, the freshly made sourdough bread from Seven Loaves has earned a spot on the must-buy list.
What DK appreciates most is the incredible variety Basics offers. Whether shopping for everyday essentials, wellness products, local favorites, or specialty foods, there's always something unique to discover.
