When Marty and Nikki realized they were doing more and more of their grocery shopping at Basics, becoming Co-op Owners felt like a natural next step.
What first drew them in? The abundance of local products and the impressive selection of bulk foods. They regularly stock up on staples like beans and quinoa from the bulk department, making it easy to buy just what they need while keeping their pantry well stocked.
They're also big fans of the produce department, where kale, mushrooms, and Swiss chard are among their favorite finds. Beyond fresh produce, they appreciate the variety of local eggs, unique local condiments, and even the sardine selection, proving that there's always something new to discover on the shelves.
When life gets busy, Marty and Nikki know they can count on the cafe for a quick and satisfying lunch. Their top pick? The Awesome Artichoke panini, a favorite they find themselves coming back to again and again.
