Established in 2008 by Mark McKeown, Bering Bounty LLC is the first seafood company in Wisconsin run by a commercial fisherman.
Based in Verona, Wisconsin, Bering Bounty sustainably catches its seafood off the coast of Alaska. Their salmon and cod are free from dyes, hormones, and preservatives.
Bering Bounty was the first in the world to qualify as being fully sustainable under the auspices of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The MSC is a global nonprofit organization established to address the issue of unsustainable fishing and to ensure the long-term sustainability of seafood supplies.
