Hooks Cheese

Established in 1976 by Tony and Julie Hook, Hooks Cheese can be found in the Shake Rag district of historic Mineral Point, WI. Tony has over 50 years of cheesemaking experience. Julie also holds a cheesemaker license and has won ‘Best in Class’ and the overall ‘World Championship Award’ at the World Cheese Championship.

What makes Hooks Cheese special?

Some might say it’s the caves! This family-run business utilizes curing caves to keep the cheese at the right temperature and humidity until it is aged to perfection. They must be doing something right to have earned over 50 awards!
