Locally sourced gourmet lamb? Yes! Owned by Steve and Darlene Pinnow, century old Pinn-Oak Ridge Farm in Delavan, WI has been direct marketing their gourmet lamb primarily through word of mouth for the last 20 years.
What makes their lamb special? Lambs from Pinn-Oak Ridge Farm (sold as the brand Wisconsin Lamb) are raised on a careful diet so that the final product has a mild and sweet taste with a juicy and tender consistency. While Steve and Darlene tend to a flock of about 200 ewes on their 180-acre property, they work with different small family farms throughout Southeastern Wisconsin to help them meet demand. All processing is done on-site.
