Small‑scale farmer co‑ops grow and process the beans; Equal Exchange imports and roasts them; and food co‑ops like ours bring them to shoppers. This model prioritizes fair pricing, transparency, and long‑term relationships. A single bag connects thousands of co‑op members across countries and communities.

Environmental Innovation

Farmer co‑ops in this supply chain practice organic, regenerative agriculture—rejecting chemicals and building healthy, resilient ecosystems. BioRevolution purchases help fund their innovations, including:

• Living fertilizers made from beneficial local microbes

• Beekeeping with native stingless Melipona bees, boosting pollination, biodiversity, and honey production
